Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Great, helping stuff who speak English quite well. Spacious bedrooms, clean sheets, plenty of showers and toilets so you don’t need to queue even though the facility has a lot of rooms and accommodates a lot of people. Pool, darts, karaoke, some board games. Can keep you entertained. Great breakfast included in the price! It is 30 min walk from the old town but generally can’t complain about the location.

Negative: The place is very good for socializing but then I personally saw it as too many people. Crowds of teens ;) most of them willing to party all night and booze, or smoke in the hall which is a common area. Well, perhaps nothing is wrong about it but not suitable for all travelers indeed. Plus there is a man selling “funny balloons” right next to the hostel entrance door with his super loud music which runs until 4-5 am in the morning. Don’t know whether he stays there always or just during holidays (I travelled during Tet) but the music obviously is too loud and it disturbs your sleep. Had to ask the staff to ask the man to lower the volume down (he did), although previously he had refused to do so.
