Captain’s Quarters is like stepping back into the Arts and Crafts era of architecture, the original wood trim, arched entry to the dining room and the large windows all beautifully restored.
As you enter Captain’s Quarters, the main common area has the living area, fireplace and television. Off to the right is the dining area and kitchen equipped with:
-Drip-coffee maker and kettle with enough coffee and tea to get you started
-Sugar packets, salt and pepper
-Microwave, flat top stove and dishwasher
-Toaster and blender
-Dishes, pots and pans, silverware and glasses (including wine glasses)
-Non-stick spray, paper towels, dish soap, tea towels, dish cloths
The main floor laundry is located next to the kitchen supplied with:
-Laundry soap, stain remover and dryer sheets
Bedding, towels, hair dryer, facial and toilet tissue, shampoo and hand soap are also provided.
One bedroom with a queen bed is off the dining room. To the left of the common area is a hallway to the other two bedrooms and the common bathroom. The front bedroom is a queen bed with additional storage space.
The common bathroom is between the two bedrooms and has a tub shower combination. The 3rd bedroom is to the back with a queen bed and ensuite with a walk-in shower. Bedding, towels, hair dryers, facial and toilet tissue, shampoo and hand soap are provided.
Outside, relax on the generous front porch and watch the people and occasional horse and carriage pass by. Sit on the back patio while dinner cooks on the gas BBQ/grill or lounge in the sunshine of the back garden.
