Summary: We recently stayed at the Canalta and overall had a very good experience. The room was beautiful, spacious, and perfect for our family — three beds made it incredibly comfortable and convenient. The check-in staff were super helpful and welcoming, and the included breakfast was wonderful. The halls were quiet, and the high ceilings in our room added a nice touch of luxury. There were, however, a few disappointments. The waterslide was closed with no prior notice, which was unfortunate since it was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. The pool area was unsupervised (which we understand), but it wasn’t the most family-friendly atmosphere when a guest sat beside the hot tub blaring loud music from a portable Bluetooth speaker, despite the posted “no radios” rule. We also noticed that the main-floor hallways were quite dirty when we arrived late in the evening — likely from work boots — though we appreciated seeing the staff mopping early the next morning as we checked out. All in all, we’d certainly consider staying again thanks to the great room and friendly service, but next time we’ll be sure to check ahead about the waterslide and pool area conditions.
