Our property is located in a rural area 15 minutes South of Nanaimo. Approximately 5 km from the Island Hwy. Our 10 acre waterfront property borders on Blind Lake. This is a shared accommodation meaning my wife and I work during the day, but are nearby to assist with any needs in the evening. Meaning we sleep in our Master suite in the same home. There is only one booking at a time here at any given time. We are also great at disappearing giving guests the freedom to enjoy our home. Cook meals, play pool, watch TV / Netflix or enjoy the closet full of board games. You may even want to throw a load of laundry on. Outside, there is the deck, patio with table and chairs, and waterfront where we have a lovely dock with benches and a myriad of floating inflatables for you to enjoy. One nice feature is that the dock can be detached from the gangway and with the assistance of a little battery powered motor, we provide a complimentary lake cruise to see some of the local nature and even the odd beaver swimming around ( Summer months only). The dock is wonderful for swimming and/or enjoying a peaceful moment with a glass of wine or cup of coffee in hand. The lake is also stocked with Rainbow Trout if you feel like trying your luck.
