Riverview Escape Cottage is very quaint and cozy . While relaxing at this unique and tranquil spot you will enjoy spectacular sunsets and a stunning view of the Trout River.
This 1.5 acre property includes a screened in Gazebo, a hammock, fire pit, BBQ, 2 bikes, and lawn games such as horseshoes, bocce ball and washer toss.
Although there is no water access from the property, the Trout River Park is very close and Cavendish Beach, North Rustico and New Glasgow are all within a short drive.
Riverview Escape Cottage is in a very private location with one of the most spectacular views on Prince Edward Island overlooking the Trout River in Stanley Bridge, located on over an acre and nestled among mature maples and pines.
It has one bedroom with a double bed, two lamps, with USB chargers, two fans, a storage area and numerous pillows for your comfort. There is one bathroom, and an open concept living, dining and kitchen area. The living area has 2 leather recliners, a futon couch/bed (which could sleep two additional guests), a rope swing, a large tv, a DVD player with movies, and a large dining table. The kitchen has basic kitchen essential's and a fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher, chest freezer, 4-slice toaster, kettle and a coffee maker to make drip or pod coffee. Some packages of tea, coffee, coffee pods, creamers, sugar and filters are provided as well as canola oil cooking spray, salt and pepper and a few condiment packages of ketchup, and mustard.
You will find board games and books in the bedroom as well as a hair dryer and iron and ironing board. There is plenty of storage for clothes in the bedroom and living room.
Outside the cottage you will find a large wrap around deck encompassing the cottage equipped with a BBQ, outdoor furniture, and LED string lights.
The sprawling yard has mature maple and pine trees, a hammock, a firepit with wood, kindling and paper, a horseshoe pit, and a screened in gazebo with electricity to power the provided fans, and lamp. You will also find some books on a bookshelf. Some of the trees outside the cottage have been wrapped with solar LED lights to give the space a resort atmosphere.
There is a wooden box on the deck containing yard games such as horseshoes, bocce ball, washer toss, etc as well as paper for the firepit. You will also find a few beach chairs and beach towels, and a pillow and cushion pad for the hammock in this box.
