Positive: The hotel location is wonderful and it is such a beautiful spot. The sunset from the deck is magical and the barman played the coolest music! Despite the challenges, this was a very special stay!

Negative: We struggled with breakfast options initially. After a discussion with management, they rectified it. The hotels in Thailand are not great with marking ingredients and it would be so easy to put a vegan table together. The service at the bar is really really poor. We had to go get our drinks ourselves every time, this is minor but for this type of resort they could do with fine tuning their service. Also, I consider this to be a quiet, exclusive resort. On the Friday there was a tour group and a tour leader with a loudspeaker that overwhelmed the already challenged service. It was disappointing to see them letting in a big tour group since the servers/staff then had to focus on day visitors and not on serving the in house guest. There is very little maintenance done around the property and sunbeds. Every morning, the same garbage, cigarette buds etc were still there from the previous day. I saw guests cleaning around the area a few times. All it would take is for the staff to be aware of it, so when they walk past, clean up.
