Summary: This property was unfortunately oversold and did not meet our expectations, particularly regarding cleanliness. Our group noticed a lack of basic supplies-there weren't enough towels or glasses, there were no blue bins for recyclables, and the green bin on-site contained garbage. The grounds also had scattered litter. The driveway was steep and riddled with potholes, and the deck was in serious need of repair. This was disappointing given the owner's description of themselves as "zen travelers" who cherish and the love the space. The promotional materials were far more inviting than the actual property.As a long-time VRBO traveler who has stayed in properties around the world, I feel guests should be given an accurate picture upfront. My suggestion: put the same care and “TLC” you speak of in your pamphlet into the property itself-it would make the experience far more aligned with what’s advertised. Even reinvesting the revenue from one week's rental into upkeep and repairs would make a world of difference.
